Eligibility Criteria

Potential recipients are individuals between the ages of 0 to 99 years who are disabled according to Medicaid standards or Supplemental Security Income (SSI) disability criteria. To be eligible one must meets admission, requirements for a nursing facility, but can be cared for in the home or community-based setting. 

A & D Helping Hands, LLC will provide services that assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADL) and Instrumental Activities of Daily Living (IADL) which consist of the following:

• Eating
• Food Preparation & Storage
• Grocery Shopping
• Bathing
• Dressing
• Grooming
• Transferring
• Chair Ambulation
• Walking
• Toileting
• Light Housekeeping
• Helping With Scheduled Appointments
• Transportation
